REBOOT Physiotherapy has experience and enjoys working with children (7+) and teenagers with musculoskeletal injuries

COMMON INJURIES

Acute Injuries: playing and participating in sport can sometimes lead to an acute injury. Rebecca has worked with junior aged sporting teams and has experience managing injuries with younger patients.

Apophyseal Tendinopathy: During periods of growth active children can often experience pain, commonly at the knee or ankle, due to the increased load on the site where tendons attach to bone. These symptoms are often put down as 'growing pain' but there are ways to help reduce/eliminate the symptoms and return to sport.

Postural Pain: Especially when school bags get heavier at high school or again with periods of growth teenagers can experience upper or lower back pain associated with their posture.
